Blocks, Paper, Scissors Summer Art Camp 2012 Dates

We are tentatively scheduled to run Blocks, Paper, Scissors Art Camp 2012 at Indy Parks Post Road Community Park the first three weeks of June, Monday through Thursday:
June 4-7, June 11-14, June 18-21.

Week 3 Day 5: Last Day

Today me and Bethany worked on the iPad. I painted with Bethany and also watched Susan with Bethany do a play. Art Camp rocked!

Drawing, Painting and Mural Making

As promised, we have made available many forms of art education learning opportunities, but drawing and painting is a staple that we enjoy doing. Seven year old Zachy and five year old Noah are amazing in their use of books as a resource material to enhance their drawing experience. Zachy informed me he has read several books from the Harry Potter series allready!

Week 3 Day 4

Lets build a wall. The kids today Were active in a lot of play today. Story telling, play writing and good old individual play time. Several of the kids started painting a mural. Working large is a lot different than working small. Kids learned to step back from the painting to take in the whole image, adjust colors add detail.
